| 1997 | Agile Pty Ltd (trading as 'Agile Communications') founded to be a sister company to Internode, concentrating on building and operating telecommunications infrastructure. |
| 2001 | Internode launches the first non-Telstra end-to-end telecommunications network in the Coorong. |
| 2002 | The Internode Games Network launches - a private customer gaming network that grows into one of the largest in Australia. |
| Internode announces completion of first generation Voice over IP telephony service. |

The South Australian Government re-signs its contract with Internode, marking 11 years of continual Internet service provision to the SA Government Internet Gateway. |
| Internode accelerates its ADSL2+ rollout in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane & Canberra; from 67 exchanges to 113. |

| Internode launches Australia's first Annex M ADSL2+, providing faster upload speeds than traditional ADSL services. | |
| Internode's 250th employee comes on board. | |
| 2007 | Internode extends its private backbone with massive direct links to the US via Japan on the Australia-Japan Cable (AJC), in addition to its existing and ongoing use of the Southern Cross Cable Network. |
